Twifu Rural Bank Ltd was established and given license to operate as a bank in 1984 in the Central Region, Ghana-West Africa, with Five (5) Branches ie. Twifo Agona, Twifo Hemang, Twifo Praso Main, Twifo Praso Market Square and Dunkwa-On-Offin.

The principal purposes of the bank have been enacted by charter in the Rural Banking Act, the Banking Act,2016, Act 930, the ARB Apex Act and the Bank’s own Regulation. Twifu Rural Bank day-to-day operations and it blueprint has provides a clear and well documented framework given the strategic direction of the Bank in the period specified.
